1) V.S. Detnarong Wor. Sangprapai
In March 2007, Sam-A took on Detnarong Wor. Sangprapai. He eventually emerged victorious after 5 gruelling rounds. Thanks to his good stamina, he was able to push through all 5 rounds and put up such a great fight.
At the end of 2008, Sam-A went against Detnarong again, and clinched the Lumpinee Championship – making it one of the best years of his fight career. That same year, he beat other top Muay Thai fighters, including Petchboonchu F.A. Group, Penek Sitnumnoi, and Rungruanglek Lukprabart. As a result, he made a name for himself as one of the biggest Muay Thai stars.
2) V.S. Yodsanklai Fairtex
Sam-A was only 18 when he took on Yodsanklai Fairtex in Lumpinee Stadium. Throughout his entire career, he fought Yodsanklai a total of 7 times. Sam-A picked up Muay Thai and started training at the tender age of 9. It comes as no surprise then, that he was able to thrive in the ring at such a young age – and of course, go on to become one of the greatest Muay Thai legends in history.
3) V.S. Bangpleenoi 96Penang
In the headline event of the night, Sam-A battled it out with Bangpleenoi 96Penang for the Thailand Featherweight title at the new Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok. Sam-A finished the fight with a flurry of punches, a kick, and some knees strikes, eventually knocking Bangpleenoi out with a right knee.
4) V.S. Stephen Meleady
Sam-A took on the Irish Stephen Meleady at the Toyota Marathon event in Bangkok. Sam-A impressed his fans with yet another exciting fight, and won in the third round by decision.
